This anime was made based on a fantasy novel(1932) which is written by Kenji Miyazawa.(1896 ~ 1933) The lonely and poor boy, Giovanni found train that stops at a place without a station. He got on the train and saw his friend, Kampanela who is dripping wet and sitting down seat in the train. 　 He's traveling on a galactic railway with his friend Kampanela

This story is a motif of samurai in revolution era. This story was written in 1984, about 40 years ago. In 20xx, environmental destruction bring about a huge fungal forest, which is called "Fukai". Many human died of a disease which comes from fungal spore. Everybody keep wearing mask to prevent fungal spore and human being are on the verge of destruction. The village near the ocean, which is called "Valley of the Wind" is only place that they can live without wearing mask because an onshore wind keep blowing away fungal spore. But many emigrant try to have dominance over this village as colony to get plenty resource and onshore wind is about to stop blowing.

Hikaru's Igo

Hikaru found bloodstained "Goban" after his school, He accept to be haunted by a ghost "Sai" who died 1000 years ago, still regret something in this world. Hikaru knows Sai was Igo player 1000 years ago and visit Igo hall. Hikaru met one boy Toya, who is same age as Hikaru and Hikaru started playing game with him for his relaxation. He heard Sai's voice at that time and just follow Sai's voice during the game. Finally, Hikaru won the Toya easily and he left the hall. But this thing broke Toya's mind strongly and he lost confidence because he is one of the player who try to aim at becoming professional player. Several days later, Hikaru visit that hall again, and run into Toya's father who is professional Igo player. He told Hikaru that he can't believe boy like Hikaru could win Toya for relaxation because Toya started have been learning Igo since he was 3 years old. Moreover, he saw that Toya keep loving Igo and making effort than anyone else.

Moyashimon

Moyashimon means person who selling bean sprouts in Japanese. Sawaki is student who major in agriculture and his father sell bean sprouts. But he has supernatural power which he can see microscopic world such as virus in the world.

After their mother pass away, they try to bring her back to life but but it failed and Edward lost arm, his youger brother Alfonce lost body. Their genious alchemy make Edward and Alfonce possible to be alive by using of iron body and iron arm.
